We humans are uniquely connected on many levels and in many ways. For millennia we have learned how to cooperate, to get what we need (to survive) and to get what we want (to thrive). But, we are also aggressive, competitive and selfish. Underneath all of it, there exists a social contract that guides the way we treat each other and how we collaborate for mutual benefit.
In today’s world, that contract is being questioned. In many ways it is being challenged. What ARE the rules we all live by? What are the underlying values we cherish? What holds us together? What makes for a civil society? What undermines and threatens a peaceful, productive world?
In this week’s episode, Dave explores human nature, freedom and the social contract. His insights are unique and provocative!
